Valley Fresh Turkey and Cheese Muffin Rolls

Ingredients:

  • 2 (8 ounce) packages reduced-fat refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 3 tablespoons prepared mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 cups shredded reduced-fat Swiss cheese
  • 1 (10 ounce) can Valley Fresh 100% Natural White Turkey, drained and shredded
  • Apricot or peach preserves, if desired

Instructions:

On floured surface, open each package of crescent roll dough and lightly press perforations to seal. In small bowl, combine mustard and honey. Spread mustard mixture over each piece of dough. Sprinkle each piece of dough with 1 cup of cheese and 1/2 can of turkey. Starting with the short side, roll dough up tightly. Cut each piece of dough into 6 equal slices. Place slices, cut side up, in greased muffin cups, pressing slightly into cups. Heat oven to 375°F. Bake 30 minutes, or until golden brown. If desired, serve with apricot or peach preserves.
